Citing security reasons behind the changes, a Northern Railway release today said the GD-I Ghaziabad-Delhi EMU scheduled to depart from Ghaziabad station at 10-14 a.m. and reach Delhi Junction at 10-50 a.m. will be diverted via Shahibabad-Tilak Bridge-New Delhi and Delhi Junction. It will remain cancelled between Vivek Vihar and Delhi Shahdara Junction. Similarly, the 4673 Darbhanga-Delhi-Amritsar Express scheduled to depart from Ghaziabad at 10-25 a.m. and reach Delhi Junction at 11 a.m. will be diverted via Shahibabad-Tilak Bridge-New Delhi-Delhi Junction. The GDP-4 Ghaziabad-Delhi-Palwal EMU train scheduled to depart from Ghaziabad at 11-30 a.m. and reach New Delhi (via Delhi Junction) at 12-21 p.m. will take a diverted route and remain cancelled between Vivek Vihar-Delhi Shahdara and Delhi Junction. Similarly, the GDP-I Palwal-Delhi-Ghaziabad EMU and the GDK-I Kosi Kalan-Delhi-Ghaziabad EMU will also not run between Delhi-Delhi Shahdara and Vivek Vihar. The SDD-2 Shakurbasti-Delhi-Dankaur EMU scheduled to depart from Delhi Junction at 11-45 a.m. via Delhi Shahdara will be diverted via Delhi-New Delhi-Tilak Bridge-Shahibabad and then to Ghaziabad. It will remain cancelled between Vivek Vihar and Delhi Shahdara.
