Inter-State tourney from today

Chandigarh DEC. 22. Inter-State tourney from today: More than 40 golfers from over 10 States and Railways and Services will participate in the two-day inaugural Bank of Punjab Inter-State Golf Championship to be conducted by the Chandigarh Golf Association at the Chandigarh Golf Culb from tomorrow. Almost every team has arrived and expresses view that this event should have been included in the Hyderababd National Games which concluded today. Dronacharya Azad and Mr. Reddy, IPS, said golfers from Punjab, Services Sports Control Board, Rialway Sports Control Board, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and host Chandigarh have asked their claim for the top honours.
