Medals for 5 Delhi police personnel

New Delhi Dec. 22. The President has awarded the Police Medal for gallantry to five Delhi police personnel, including three officers who had shown exemplary courage in gunning down terrorists who attacked the Red Fort two years ago.

ACP Rajbir Singh, Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, and ASI Anil Tyagi, all with the Special Cell of Delhi police, were rewarded for their courage shown in an encounter with militants of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, an official release said here today.
