Pak. denial not credible: India

By Our Diplomatic Correspondent

NEW DELHI DEC. 16. India today said it did not attach much credence to Pakistani denials that Anees Ibrahim, wanted in the March 1993 Bombay blasts case, was not in Pakistan.

Asked if India had its own sources of information on the whereabouts of Anees Ibrahim, who has been spirited away from Dubai to Pakistan, the Foreign Office spokesman replied in the affirmative.

To a question whether New Delhi had taken up this issue with the UAE Government, the spokesman said any developments on the question would be conveyed to the press.
