JD(S) leader's appeal to Govt.

By Our Staff Reporter

Pondicherry Dec. 16. The president of the Pondicherry State unit of the Janata Dal (S), E. Ganesan, has called upon the Administration to ensure that the management of the self-financing minority-run medical college at Kalapet declared the seats available under the government quota.

He said as per the current move, 20 per cent of the total seats alone would be available under government quota, although it should be 50 per cent. The information should be furnished immediately, he added.
