Lakshminarayanan leaves for Delhi

Pondicherry Dec.15. The Education and Tourism Minister, K. Lakshminarayanan, today left here for Delhi to participate in a meeting of the Congress-ruled State Education Ministers convened by the Opposition Leader in Rajya Sabha, Manmohan Singh, on the eve of the all- India Education Ministers' meeting organised by the Union HRD Minister, Murli Manohar Joshi, to discuss the NCERT framed syllabus.

The Education Department sources said the meeting was to evovle a common stand of the Congress on the syllabus of the NCERT before placing the views at the tomorrow's Ministerial level meeting.
