Some of the witnesses disclosed the names of five judges in their deposition before the committee, adding two names to the three that existed, and the five judges met the members of the committee. The members of the committee, who wound up the hearing at the Kumarakrupa Guesthouse here at 3.40 p.m., went to the High Court immediately. The five judges accused of involvement in the "Mysore episode" (three permanent judges and two additional judges), who were waiting for the committee members, met them in the chamber of the Chief Justice of the High Court at 3.55 p.m. However, it is not known what transpired between the members of the committee and the judges.

The committee, which held its proceedings in camera, unlike in Mysore on Saturday, recorded the depositions. It is learnt to have decided to hold a further inquiry in Bangalore on January 4, 2003.
No one, including members of the Press, was allowed to go near the room where the committee was holding the proceedings at the Kumara Krupa Guesthouse.
Those who deposed before the committee were Justice K.L. Manjunath, Judge, Karnataka High Court, Justice A.J. Sadashiva, former Judge, Karnataka High Court, Indira Jaisingh, senior advocate, Supreme Court, Navkesh Batra, B.G. Koshy, Vasudevan, Pramila Nesargi, and K.S. Singaraiah, advocates, Kuldip Singh Reiki, President, Karnataka Punjabi Welfare Association, H. Basavaiah, a senior citizen, and Sudhir Kaushik, Secretary, Rainbow Forum.

The Additional Chief Secretary, Adhip Chowdhury, also met the members of the committee.
The Inspector of Police, Vijayanagar Police Station, Mysore, Marikale Gowda, in whose jurisdiction of The Roost resort is located, was present on the occasion to make a further deposition.
However, the committee could not record his evidence as it was running out of time, and is learnt to have asked him to make his submission on January 4.
Confidence
All the persons who deposed before the committee expressed confidence that the inquiry would help bring out the truth.
Seventeen persons deposed before the committee in Mysore on Saturday, including the Registrar (Vigilance), Karnataka High Court, the Commissioner of Police, the proprietor of The Roost, mediapersons, and members of the public.
