Trinamool to remain in NDA

KOLKATA NOV. 16. After months of now-on and now-off relationship with the National Democratic Alliance, the Trinamool Congress tonight decided to remain in the alliance following a telephonic talk between the NDA convener, George Fernandes, and the Trinamool chief, Mamata Banerjee.

Ms. Banerjee said there was a ``positive'' response from the Centre on the Eastern Railway bifurcation issue.
