Sania will take on the 814th ranked Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan who defeated Yan-Hua Dong of China 6-0, 6-4 in the other semifinal. Meanwhile, Sania had something to celebrate on Saturday itself, as she and Radhika Tulpule clinched the doubles crown with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over the third-seeded Yan-Hua Dong and Yao Zhang of China in the final. The Indian players had it tough in singles otherwise. The sixth-seeded Sonal lost to Kim Kilsdonk 4-6, 6-2, 3-6; Megha Vakharia lost 2-6, 2-6 to Gabriela Velasco-Andreu of Spain; Geeta Manohar lost to Diana Costa of Portugal 2-6, 1-6; and Radhika Tulpule had lost to Elisabeth Bahn 6-7 (5-7), 2-6.
