Traffic curbs for President's visit

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Nov. 16. Traffic would be regulated in the city on November 17 evening and on November 18 in view of the visit of the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, according to a press release quoting the City Police Commissioner.

Traffic would be regulated on the route from the Airport to the Raj Bhavan from 7-30 p.m. on November 17. On November 18, all KSRTC and private buses going from the National Highway to Thampanoor should take the Ulloor-Kesavadasapuram-Pattom-PMG-RR Lamp-Nandavanam-Bakery Junction route.

City service buses going from the National Highway to East Fort should take the Ulloor-Medical College-Kannammoola- Nalumukku-Collectorate- Uppidamoodu-Kaithamukku-Fort Hospital route.

The KSRTC city service buses going from the M.C. Road to East Fort side should take the Kesavadasapuram-Ulloor-Medical College-Kannammoola- Nalumukku- Collectorate- Uppidamoodu- Kaithamukku-Fort Hospital route. On November 18, the road from Nalumukku to the Collectorate would be a one-way.

The KSRTC buses going from Vattiyoorkavu side towards Thampanoor and East Fort, should take the Sasthamangalam- Edappazhanji-Vazhuthacaud-Xanadu Junction-Panavila Junction-Model School-Thampanoor-Overbridge route.

The KSRTC buses going from Thampanoor to the National Highway Road should take the Thampanoor-Overbridge-Uppidamoodu- Vanchiyoor-Pattoor-Pallimukku-Medical College-Ulloor-Sreekariyam route.

The KSRTC buses going from Thampanoor to M.C. Road, should take the Thampanoor Flyover-Thycaud-Vazhuthacaud-Vellayambala- Kowdiar-Ambalamukku-Muttada-Paruthippara route to Nalanchira side. The city service buses going from East Fort to the NH and MC Roads, should take the East Fort-Overbridge-Uppidamoodu- Vanchiyoor-Pattoor-Pallimukku-Kannammoola-Medical College-Ulloor route. After reaching Ulloor, the vehicles going to the NH side should take the Sreekariyam route and those going to the MC Road should go via Kesavadasapuram to Nalanchira.

The city service buses going from East Fort to Vattiyoorkavu side, should take the East Fort-Overbridge-Thampanoor-Flyover- Thycaud-Vazhuthacaud-Vellayambalam-Sasthamangalam route.
