Amitabh Mattoo, Jammu varsity VC

Jammu Nov. 13. The Jammu and Kashmir Governor, G.C. Saxena, has appointed Amitabh Mattoo as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jammu. Mr. Mattoo, Professor of International Politics in the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, succeeds Prof. Ram Sharma.

Hailing from the Kashmir Valley, Mr. Mattoo has done his doctorate in International Studies from the Oxford University. He is visiting Professor with the Stanford University, U.S. the Norte Dame University and the University of Paris. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the National Security Council. He is on the advisory boards of various universities, including the prestigious Calver Academy, U.S.
