Hari Krishna moves court for transfer of case
By Our Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI
NOV. 14.
Hari Krishna, the self-proclaimed eyewitness to the Ansal Plaza "encounter" in which the Special Cell of the Delhi police had killed two terrorists on November 3, today approached the Delhi High Court seeking transfer of the investigation of the case and protection for him from alleged harassment by the city police.
His petition, filed through his counsel, Surat Singh, is likely to come up for hearing on Monday.
The petitioner urged the court to transfer the investigation into the case from the city police to any other authority as they were an interested party.
He said that it was also against the principle of natural justice that no one should be a judge in his own case, as the city police were trying to do by keeping the investigation in their own hands.
