Two ECs arrive in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad Nov. 10. The Election Commissioners, T.S. Krishnamurthy and B.B. Tandon, arrived here tonight to take stock of the overall preparations for the December 12 Assembly elections. The Chief Election Commissioner, J.M. Lyngdoh, will arrive here tomorrow morning.

The full Commission's two-day visit to Ahmedabad and then Rajkot assumes significance in the backdrop of the recent spate of violence here. The EC would meet senior civil and police officials.
