Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram
By Our Special Correspondent
In a statement here today, he said the recruitment freeze was being used to squeeze in their chosen ones in public sector units and State Government service bypassing the Public Service Commission. He said people were being inducted into the KSRTC, KSEB, KTDC, KFC and several other such institutions on temporary basis in utter disregard to the health of the organisations concerned and in violation of reservation norms. Mr. Mohammed Kutty said the Antony Government's recent order insisting on prior permission from Government for appointing candidates selected by the PSC was meant only to facilitate corruption. There were complaints that this arrangement was being used by those in power to amass money. The Government had given posting only to half of those who had received advice memo from the PSC. This amounted to breach of all established norms, Mr. Mohammed Kutty said.
