Remembrance Day service held

BANGALORE Nov. 10. A Remembrance Day service was held at the War Memorial here today in memory of the brave men of India's armed forces killed in the two World Wars and in conflicts since Independence.

As the bugles sounded the last post, two minutes' silence was observed. Air Marshal B.K. Pandey, officiating Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters Training Command, IAF, Bangalore, was the first to place a wreath at the memorial.

Many serving and retired officers also placed wreaths at the memorial.
