No comment: Sonia

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI SEPT. 6. In her first interaction with the media after the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, reopened the debate over her foreign origin, the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, today chose not to comment on the issue.

Talking to the media after releasing the report of the Madhya Pradesh Government on its Rajiv Gandhi Watershed Management Mission here, Ms. Gandhi's response to a query was: "I do not want to comment on it".

She also did not take questions on Gujarat. As for Kashmir, she said her electioneering dates were yet to be finalised but hinted at the possibility of visiting the State sometime next week.
