Nagaland
A group of about 20 ultras of an underground outfit operating in Nagaland stopped three passenger buses and two trucks in the wee hours of Thursday and looted cash and belongings worth over Rs. 70,000, the sources said. The militants criminally assaulted a woman passenger. When the male passengers protested, they were severely beaten up. Some passengers and drivers said that they had lodged a verbal complaint at the police picket near Kohima about the incident. PTI
