Hero Honda sales up 34 p.c.

CHENNAI: Hero Honda Motors has sold 1.37 lakh motorcycles in August against 1.08 lakh units in the same month in 2001, an increase of 26.7 per cent. Cumulative sales in April-August have risen by 34 per cent to 6.95 lakh units from 5.19 lakh units in the same period in 2001, according to a release.
