Sree Krishna Jayanti celebrated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Aug. 31. The Sree Krishna Jayanti celebrations organised by Balagokulam concluded with a `shobha yatra' on Friday.

Children dressed like Sri Krishna, gopikas and certain epic characters assembled at Pulimoodu, Vazhuthacaud, Press Club Road, General Hospital Junction PMG Junction, before the Kanakakkunnu Palace, Pazhayasala, Kaithamukku and converged in front of the Palayam Maha Ganapathi temple.

The Balagokulam State general secretary, C. N. Purushothaman, inaugurated the `maha shobha yatra', which moved to East Fort around 4.30 p.m.
