The mother of the child, Bindu Johny of Pathanamthitta, filed a complaint with the Thrissur railway police that her child was missing from the Palakkad station. In her FIR, it is said that two Malayali co-passenger who were very friendly with her child, took her away at the Palakkad station for taking food. But they did not return. The case was sent from Thrissur to the Palakkad railway police for investigation. The Railway police here said they had raided the lodges to find the child and the two passengers. The police said attempts were being made to get the address and other details of the co-passengers from the New Delhi railway reservation centre from where they booked the tickets.
