Singapore to host Hospmedica Asia

CHENNAI AUG. 1. Hospmedica Asia, an international exhibition featuring products, technologies and systems in medical and health care, and concurrent conferences will be organised in Singapore from September 10 to 12.

To be held at Sun Tec Singapore and organised by Messe Dusseldorf GmbH of Germany, the fourth presentation of Hospmedica Asia will have about 300 international exhibitors, including national group representations from Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Korea, Pakistan and Spain, according to the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC).

New products and solutions like state-of-the art lasers, clinical and diagnostics instruments, insulin pumps, ECG devices, endoscopic systems and components, hospital information systems and software solutions for hospitals, clinics, laboratories and blood banks will be major attractions at the fair.

ASIA-Invest Medical Technology 2002, a business matchmaking seminar initiated by the European Commission for small and medium enterprises from the EU member-states, Singapore and other parts of the region will be held during the fair in association with the APRI a.s.b.I (Association for the Promotion of International Relations) and the Delegate of the German Industry and Commerce in Singapore.

Two half-day tours of hospitals on September 9 and 12 in Singapore, showcasing of new hospital projects by project administrators and the second Parkway Medical Congress will be other features of Hospmedica Asia.

Concurrent with the event will be the third presentation of OS+H Asia, the Occupational Safety+Health Exhibition for Asia, featuring OSH products and services. A two-day conference on "OSH — a A Business Advantage" will be organised by the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers and the Occupational Health Society.
