The Foreign Office spokeswoman told reporters this evening that the Russian side will be led by the First Deputy Foreign Minister, Vyachaslav Trubnikov, while the Indian delegation would be led by the Foreign Secretary, Kanwal Sibal. She said that the last meeting of the working group was held in Moscow in February this year. Apart from attending the meeting, Mr. Trubnikov will meet with the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Brajesh Mishra, the External Affairs Minister, Yashwant Sinha, and the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani. During his stay, Mr. Trubnikov will discuss the entire gamut of bilateral issues, including the visit of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, to India in December, the spokeswoman said. She preferred not to comment on the Government's stance following the Jammu incident, saying that New Delhi's position would be spelt out by Mr. Advani in the Lok Sabha. ``Everybody has condemned the terrorist act (in Jammu). Even our friends in the international community have said it is outside the pale of the civilised world and the region cannot be held hostage to terrorism in this fashion,'' she said.
