HYDERABAD July 4. Radical changes are being brought about by the Commercial Tax Department to avoid misuse and duplication of way bills, the Joint Commissioner, Enforcement, Arvind Kumar, has said.

Reacting to reports in a section of the press on the use of fake way bills, Mr. Kumar directed deputy commissioners concerned to have a thorough verification and strict vigilance on usage of the bills, a press release said here.

He asked the commissioners to keep a tab on the missing bills, cross verify and increase checking of way bills through mobile squads.
