CMC Commissioner assumes charge

Udupi July 4. Suprasanna assumed charge as the Commissioner of the Udupi City Municipal Council (CMC) on Thursday.

After taking charge, Mr. Suprasanna said he would maintain transparency in the administration of the City Municipal Council.

Besides activating the municipal administration, he would be available to listen to people's grievances. People could approach him with his problems and he would try his best to solve them, Mr. Suprasanna said.

The MLC, V.S. Acharya, the President of the Udupi City Municipal Council, Chittaranjandas Hegde, the Vice-President of the city municipal council, Shanta Naik, and the Chairman of City Municipal Council Standing Committee, Raghupati Bhat, were present.
