The allotment will cover, all free seats in government/aided/autonomous engineering colleges (except management/minority seats), all payment seats in the autonomous engineering colleges (except management/minority/NRI seats), the B.Tech Agricultural Engineering and B.Tech Dairy Science and Technology courses under the Kerala Agricultural University. Details of the engineering colleges, and the total number of seats in different branches in each college are given in the information brochure to be published before the commencement of allotment. All candidates who wish to get selection for payment seats at the time of allotment or those who wish to submit higher order options for payment seats, later, should produce/submit a DD/Loan Sanction Order towards fees for payment seats at the time of personal appearance at the allotment venue. The fee for payment seats is Rs. 1,50,000 in all self-financing engineering colleges except the MES Engineering College, Kuttipuram. The fee is to be remitted as DD from any nationalised bank/scheduled bank drawn in favour of the CEE payable at Thiruvananthapuram and has to be submitted at the time of counselling. Candidates who have already submitted fee/loan sanction order for admission to a payment seat in some other institution (Cusat, colleges under University of Calicut) need only produce the receipt for the same, issued by that institution. However, they will have to submit the DD/loan sanction order within seven days from the date of appearance at the allotment process. Only candidates who satisfy these conditions will be considered for selection to a payment seat at the selection venue or can furnish higher order options for payment seats. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OEC are exempted from payment of fee for payment seats. Candidates who are admitted under the free seats need pay tuition and other fee at the time of joining the college. Up to 18 payment seats secured by sons/daughters of KSRTC employees will be exempted from payment of fees. Such candidates should have submitted the employment certificate with the application form and should execute a bond for availing concession at the time of admission. Candidates should have with them the admit card of the entrance examination-2002, original mark lists, pass certificate (if there is one) of the qualifying examination, attested copy of the mark lists of qualifying examination, equivalency/eligibility certificate if necessary, a copy of the `Candidate's Data' sheet given by the CEE, original certificate for those claiming special reservation, school records for proof of age and fee. Candidates can send an authorised representative to attend counselling for them. Candidates who do not turn up in time for counselling will forfeit their chance. Details regarding admission to NRI seats will be notified later.
