FoodWorld expands retail chains

CHENNAI: FoodWorld Supermarkets, a grocery retail chain and a part of the Rs. 6,500 crore RPG Enterprises, has opened its 24th store at the Madras Gymkhana Club here. Earlier in Bangalore, FoodWorld has opened special retail outlets exclusively for the staff of Infosys and Wipro inside their office campus. With 80 retail stores, the Rs. 300 crore FoodWorld services the home needs of about three lakh households per month across the country, says a company release.
