Sir, This has reference to your Editorial, `Knowing your candidate' (July 4), on the Supreme Court's mandate to the Election Commission. This will enable the voter to have an opportunity to think things over "before making a choice of electing law-breakers as law-makers". I would like to know what the Supreme Court/Election Commission propose to do in situations where the voter goes to the booth to cast his/her franchise after getting some consideration from political parties?
