CHENNAI, FEB. 23. A little more than 800 persons visited the Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Vandalur, which was reopened today after a month of closure following the entry of a panther into the zoo premises.
According to the authorities, the number of visitors was less today, compared to a normal holiday. On an average, 1,500 persons visited the zoo during weekends.
Much of the visitors were from different parts of the State and Andhra Pradesh.
The zoo operated three to four trips to the lion safari.
