ULFA camp in Bhutan closed
By Barun Das Gupta

GUWAHATI, DEC. 11. ULFA has closed one of its nine camps in Bhutan and is in the process of dismantling three others, Army sources said here today.

The closed camp is Gobarkunda, across the border of Bongaigaon and Barpeta districts of Assam. The two other camps being vacated are Pemagastel and Orang across Barpeta district. The name and location of the fourth camp are not yet known.

The sources said some 30 to 40 militants have entered the Garo Hills district of Meghalaya and another 30 to 40 gone to Bangladesh, mainly to report to their top leaders like the chairman, Mr. Arabinda Rajkhowa, and the ``C-in-C'', Mr. Paresh Barua, who are living in Bangladesh.
