Ranbaxy U.S. arms report $100 m sales

MUMBAI, DEC. 11. The two wholly owned subsidiaries of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. (RLL) _ Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Princeton, New Jersey, and Ohm Laboratories of North Brunswick, New Jersey _ have achieved combined sales in excess of $100 million.

This represents a 65 per cent increase over the combined performance for the same period in fiscal year 2000. The total sales for the year ending December 31, 2001 are expected to be between $105 million and $110 million. At present, these subsidiaries contribute 17 per cent in gross revenues to Ranbaxy's global sales.
