New oil, gas find off Krishna-Godavari

NEW DELHI, DEC. 11. The Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr. Ram Naik, today christened the new oil and gas find in the Krishna-Godavari offshore basin in Andhra Pradesh as ``Padmavati.'' Another oil find in the same basin has been named as ``Kanaka Durga'' by the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr. Santosh Gangwar, at a function here today.
