Mukeh Kumar triumphs
KATHMANDU, NOV. 25. Mhow-based Mukesh Kumar won his second
successive title with a five-stroke win over Vijay Kumar in the
Surya Nepal Masters golf tournament at the Gokarna Forest Golf
Resort here on Saturday.
A score of a six-under 66 in the final round by Mukesh enabled
him to emerge victorious comfortably in the end. With a tally of
14-under 274, Mukesh earned Rs. 1,21,500 for his effort.
Vijay, who shot a one-over 73, received Rs. 84,000. The third
place was claimed by Shiv Prakash, who finished at 283.
