Boycott of palmolein hailed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, NOV. 25. A meeting of the Sarva Seva Sangh
held at the Vinoba Niketan today hailed the boycott of palmolein
and aerated drinks.
The Sangh working committee described the movement as
revolutionary and said that the boycott of foreign clothes and
the swadeshi movement advocated by the Mahatma still has
relevance in the State.
The economic policies implemented by the Centre are controlled
by the multinationals, the meeting said.
The Sangh president, Mr. Ganga Prasad Agarwal, presided. Dr.
Manmohan Choudhary, Mr. P. Gopinathan Nair, and Mr. K. P. A.
Rahim, were among those who addressed the meeting.
