TMMK condemns killings in J&K
By Our Staff Reporter
RAMANATHAPURAM, NOV.25. The Tamil Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam has
condemned the killing of Hindus and Sikh drivers in Jammu and
Kashmir by the militant groups based in Pakistan even after the
announcement of ceasefire by the Central Government.
Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday Mr.S.S.U.Saifullah
Haja, Deputy general secretary said that the TMMK though welcomed
the ceasfire, it wanted the Central Government to find out a
permanent solution to the long pending Kashmir issue.
The TMMK has decided to organise procession and demonstration
through out the State on Dec 6 demanding the Central Government
to handover the disputed site at Ayodhya to the Muslim leaders in
order to build a Masjid.
Mr.Saifullah alleged that the DMK Government had failed to ensure
the welfare of Muslims and sought the formation of a separate
board to look after the welfare of Muslims.
